Dozens of leaked Defense Department classified documents posted online reveal details of US spying on Russia's war machine in Ukraine and secret assessments of Ukraine's combat power, as well as intelligence gathering on America's allies, including South Korea and Israel.

Ukraine has long worried about information it shares with the US spilling out into the open. "This case showed that the Ukrainians have been absolutely right about that,” said one of the European officials."
