Giant panda Ya Ya took a stroll around her enclosure with a tasty bamboo snack, with many fans enjoying the sweet video posted by Beijing Zoo.
People were pleased to see the panda's health had improved after returning to Beijing from a 20-year stay in the United States.
Ya Ya began shedding her fur in 2006, a condition that worsened in 2014. Experts at Memphis Zoo of Tennessee and in China tried various treatments but were unable to solve the problem, according to the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens.
据中国动物园协会称,“丫丫”从2006年起出现轻微掉毛现象,并在2014年往后越发严重。来自中国和美国田纳西州孟菲斯动物园的专家尝试多种方法治疗,都没有成效。
This April, Ya Ya arrived in Shanghai, and was quarantined for a month before moving to Beijing.
今年4月,“丫丫”从美国返回上海,隔离一个月后,回到北京。
The giant panda is now adapting to her new environment, and is in stable condition, according to Beijing Zoo.
