价值观和是非观

一个有原则的人，他的价值观是独立思想的表现，不以眼前的利益和当下的潮流而改变。

价值，value, 重利益和重精神的有不同的估量。 

一个注重品德的人，他的是非观以善恶来区分对错。一个人是好人还是坏人，不以是否对自己好来分别，而是看那人是否扶弱抑强；一件事是好事还是坏事，不以狭隘自身利益来判断，而是看那件事是否对社会整体有益。

重人品的交结朋友，不会因意见不同或利益不一至而反目。如拜登和麦克恩。

重品德的论荣辱，不以成败为标准。忠诚并坚持自己的信念，体现的是独立人格和精神自由。

荣辱是对人，成败是对事。

麦克恩的荣誉，在于他勇于承担责任，为自己为国家。他为人正直，真诚。

作了几十年议员，麦克恩并没什么值得夸耀的政绩。作为政客，他两度竞选总统失败。而那两个击败他的政治对手，将应他的邀请在追思会上致词。

盖棺定论，是成王败寇，还是崇高的英雄主义，不同的价值观是非观有不一样的结论。
