父亲第一次進监狱
父亲是祖传的中医，也受过西医的训练。 1949年之前，他經營著一家中药店和一家小旅馆。 当时，父亲以为，共產黨會給中國帶來美好的未來。 萬萬没有想到，共产党執政后，政治运动接踵而至。
1956年，公私合營，徹底剝奪了父親的所有財產。1957年，在引蛇出洞的陽謀中，父親因言獲罪，沒經審判，投入監獄，留下三個年幼的孩子，一位年邁的母親和沒有工作孤苦無依求告無門的年輕的妻子。

           Father’s First Descent into Prison 
My father was a well-trained doctor of Chinese medicine and Western medicine. Before Mao Zedong founded New China, he had a traditional Chinese medicine store and a small hotel. At that time my father thought that Mao’s government would be better for the future of China. He did not expect that after the founding of the Communist Party of China, there would be many political movements that followed one after another.
 
The public-private partnership movement in 1956 stripped my father of all his property. And he was imprisoned in 1957 for his free-spoken, leaving behind three children, an elderly mother and wife.
