圣诞节即将来临,开始做些cookies,很喜欢http://allrecipes.com/这个网站,里面的菜谱,点心谱都有review,可以从中得到很多的信息,所以常常去逛逛,自从十二月份起,每天都有特色圣诞cookies recipe. 选了两个,试试看。
第一个,因为材料的关系,自己稍加了改动,效果还是不错,叫做 Cinnamon Pecan Biscotti.

Ingredients:3/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup hazelnut
Directions: 只是手头没有Hazulnut,所以换成Pecan, 味道照样好,喜欢喝咖啡的朋友可以试试看。
第二个,中文不只该怎么说,是只用蛋白,没有油的,名字叫Chocolate Meringue Cookies,两个小朋友喜欢,两个大人都不喜欢,好像有太甜。
Ingredients:
3 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Ina medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, bakingpowder, and salt; mix into the egg mixture. Stir in the hazelnuts.Shape dough into two equal logs approximately 12 inches long. Placelogs on baking sheet, and flatten out to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Bakefor about 30 minutes in preheated oven, or until edges are golden andthe center is firm. Remove from oven to cool on the pans. When loavesare cool enough to handle, use a serrated knife to slice the loavesdiagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices. Return the slices to the bakingsheet.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes, turning over once. Cool completely, and store in an airtight container at room temperature.

- Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
