美国人管理自行车存放的办法

Hello neighbors,
 I’m the new president ...Board of Directors. My contact data appears at 
the end of this email.
We changed the locks and code for the BIKE ROOM this week. If you do not store a bicycle in the room, there’s no need to respond to this message.
If you do store a bike in the room, I need a response from you or you won’t have access to your bike. I own 3 bikes.

I do not want my access to them restricted. Nor do I want YOUR access to YOUR bike restricted. Read on.
To receive the code to the bike room, you must “register” your bike. How do you do THAT?
 1-you email me, text me or call me at 630 677 8409 and say “I need access to the bike room and I typically store 
___ # of bikes there.
___ 2-i will give you a sticker to put ON your bike. I will deliver the sticker to you personally, along with the code. 
The sticker should be placed on the “top tube” of your bicycle, 
close to the handle bars (so far forward).
See this diagram for location of the “top tube”. It’s the horizontal red bar that runs more or less between the seat and the 
handle bars. If there is a question about where to place your sticker, I will be happy to accompany you to the bike room and assist with affixing the sticker.

At this time there is no extra charge to store your bike in the bike room. On April 1, 2022, I will be removing anything (bicycle or anything else) from the bike room that has not been registered with me.

某公寓楼，只有三层，每层8户。

地下车库有个仓库，放公共的杂物和大家的自行车的。里面还有网线什么的吧。

美国人锻炼喜欢骑车，所以，很多人家有自行车，别墅房子没得说，自行车都是放在自家车库里，很多人家都是挂在墙上的。

刚来美国的时候，我也想买个自行车的，因为在国内骑车习惯了。但一看这里的自行车才发现，它是锻炼用的，车座尤其不舒服。再说，发现没有人骑车买菜什么的。放弃了。

美国骑车人多，但没见修车的在哪儿，都自己修吗？不知道。反正在国内街边上到处都是修理自行车的，非常方便。

言归正传。

就这没多少户人家的公寓，自行车的存放问题一直困扰着大家，时常物业发通知给大家关于自行车管理的规定，所以时常，就是因为没有管理好，一直管不了。

一晃，20年过去了，20年。

终于，最近在楼里选出了新管理员后，物业再次发信给大家，转发了本楼管理员的告大家书。

如上。

没点手段，不说把你自行车扔出去，不说把你东西扔出去，那个仓库永远都会是乱七八糟的。

人，都有一个共性，那就是依赖，能自觉地能遵守规矩的人非常少。

我一直以为这是小事儿，只发生在我管理的阶段，只发生在过去骑自行车人多的年代，只发生在咱们国内。看来，我错了。

有人的地方，就有问题，也就会有相同的问题。

看到我很“二”地管理自行车挂牌问题的文后，朋友给我发了个消息，跟我说，看看美国人是怎样管理自行存放问题的。

我是不挂牌的自行车拔气密芯，这个老美好，直接把车搬走了。

我一看，乐了，真想跟这个楼自己的管理员说，咱们握握手吧，咱俩都想到了用这样的方法才能管好自行车的存放问题。

所以，看似特别难管的问题，其实也还是方法问题，采用什么样的方法就能解决什么样的问题。
