房子客厅有四个built-in的speaker，但是接线居然没有做好wall plate，就那么一卷线
从墙里出来。我数了数是6根白线，外加一根类似电视cable的同轴线。
为什么是6根呢？
查了查同轴线可能是接powered subwoofer，但是另一头到哪里去了呢？

目前postdoc位置合同是一年一年的签，目前申请延期一年，延完后J1 2019就是还有1
年半有效，如果之后马上开始申请豁免的话，豁免完了我的2019还没结束，我也没开始
下一个工作，那我豁免完了还是J1身份没有问题吗？看到版上有人说，豁免完了必须换
身份，那岂不是说我不能马上申请豁免，只有拿到H1工作offer后才能申请豁免？这样
理解对吗？

， GMAT-550, GPA-
3.05(WES认证)，有卡，有多大上的可能？
另外，LD半年内可能MOVE到外州，现有娃一枚，正犹豫是否等LD定了再申当地学校或
TRANSFER。
如有更好建议，请不吝赐教。

我个人理解不是豁免完了必须换身份，是豁免完了最好换身份。
因为豁免完了，学校一般不会允许你延期或者transfer到其他学校。
且，如果你回国还需要签证的话，那可能会再被盖上2 year rule，但是每个人只有一
次豁免的机会，所以如果再遇上的话，就麻烦了

豁免只是免除你回国两年服务的义务，豁免完了你还是J1，直到你目前DS2019结束。

GMAT/TOFEL/GPA都是刚过他们的线，3个推荐信，2 from HCC， 1 from 前工作单位，
估计也不是很strong。指望以domestic申请，学校会放行。

１）豁免完了，你还是ｊ１身份，直到２０１９到期
２）豁免完了，２０１９到期了，你一般要转ｈ１或者想办法办其他身份，有条件也可
以申请绿卡。所以一般递交ｗａｉｖｅｒ的时候要想好接下来怎么办，同时尽量把目前
的２０１９有效期延长
３）得到ｗａｉｖｅｒ之后，当然你也可以继续延ｊ１，但是这时新延期的ｊ１又有２
年限制。据说中国大使馆号称只会出具一次的ｗａｉｖｅｒ，所以理论上这次的２年限
制你是没办法ｗａｉｖｅｒ掉的，除非你有什么办法不通过大使馆ｗａｉｖｅｒ掉

不好意思, 急问个问题, 那个已经成功的waiver不会失效有没有啥出处么. 我的waiver
今年6月1号approval, 然后在国内6月9号申请了新的J-1 visa, 新visa的issue
date是6月30号. 但是上面仍然写的是212(E) Two Year Rule Applies. 现在申请
转H-1b的时候, 学校坚持说因为我申请了新的J-1 Visa, 所以就自动导致了我的waiver
失效, 到底是不是这样呀.
