很郁闷的mac和window的问题 (转载)# Apple - 家有苹果

我给他的卡片上写了这句话。合适吗？
some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And
when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up
DOES rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty
that they're gone.

请教，如果才能让mac和windows office 软件兼容。
我现在正在写proposal
发给老板改。
老板很生气的说，他改完了，电脑死机了（期间也死机了很多次）。导致所有的修改都
不见了。我用的是PC，用的是中文系统的office 2010. 老板用的是mac，软件程序不
知道，不过是今年新买的。
我觉得是2010和mac不兼容，有时候我发2003 version的过去，就没有问题。
但是老板说，是因为我的操作系统是中文的，让我去买office的正版英文软件。
我不是很想买，一个是比较贵，
另一个是我觉得不是系统的问题，我觉得是mac和PC的问题。
大家有遇到这种情况吗？

First of all, if you don't know your PI's mac office version, it is always
safe to give him .doc not the docx version.
Also, office 2010 Chinese does cause some trouble even with the Mac office
2011 version.
Try with the Office 2010 English version.

Thanks. Looks like switching to 2010 office is the only choice.

请教，如果才能让mac和windows office 软件兼容。
我现在正在写proposal

老板很生气的说，他改完了，电脑死机了（期间也死机了很多次）。导致所有的修改都
不见了。我用的是PC，用的是中文系统的office 2010. 老板用的是mac，软件程序不
知道，不过是今年新买的。
我觉得是2010和mac不兼容，有时候我发2003 version的过去，就没有问题。
但是老板说，是因为我的操作系统是中文的，让我去买office的正版英文软件。
我不是很想买，一个是比较贵，
另一个是我觉得不是系统的问题，我觉得是mac和PC的问题。

你的意思是说他在你现有公司混不下去了，非得救赎，是吗？关系近，什么都不用说，
关系远，触人家伤疤。况且你怎么知道这个人喜欢Andy?万一讨厌呢？

没有。是公司太郁闷了。能走的都走了。作为朋友，真心替他们高兴。也希望他们有机
会REFER我一把。

你不能自己喜欢什么就给别人写什么，要投其所好。你的目的不是推销电影，更不是炫
耀你看过一部你认为不错的电影。现在写完，人家不理你了。

May I suggest Google Docs?
这个的优点是不用担心丢失文档，版本历史也自动保存。
缺点是功能没有MS Word那么多。你可以把你的doc上传到Google Docs自动转换之后，
看看你平时做的事情还方便做吗。

只是普通同事。他不是华人，也不是亚洲人。我们的交情仅限于私底下一起骂公司，
骂老板，都想走。可惜我因为身份的原因，很难找下家，只能呆一天算一天。
后来他告诉我找到一个很好的下家，我脑子里第一时间浮现的就是Morgan Freeman的这

呵呵，这话看上去有点儿像鼓励人跳楼，注意不是跳槽。

很可能是中英文问题，我们以前一个博后用中文的，老板用英文的，经常出错，尤其是
docx和doc转换时候。而我用英文系统没有问题。
Proposal很可能有固定的格式模板，可能只能用word。如果你们的参考文献要用软件（
endnote或zotero...)排的话，就不用考虑google了。
原则是老板用啥你就用啥。另外，很多学校都买了MS Office吧，可以问问学校IT部门
，说不定可以免费装。

下载个英文版的office2010企业版，密码都不需要
然后尽量用兼容的word文档格式，问题可以解决
