最近在找工作,到处投简历,非常想去的地方还没有投,怕没有经验面世经验给搞砸了.
现在的问题是一个很小的公司(local),目前主要是两个老板和另外的两三个人在搞系统
,据说有200个客户.现在打算找人接替老板编程的工作.出于练手的目的,跑去面了一把,
老板当时就说我overqualify以及出不起我的工资,怕给出来的工资我会觉得是insuting
,不过应该会给个decent offer.我说主要看对工作是否感兴趣,其他的其次.
现在的问题是老板让我下周再去谈,秘书说她不知道具体内容,应该是谈offer,现在在由
于去还是不去,去的话怎么说.一来这个公司给intern to hire(相当于试用一段时间),
工资肯定低,而且作的也是小的网络支付系统,潜力不大.所以去的可能性很小,现在在由
于是否应该再去.
好处:
1.继续练习和陌生人交流的技巧
2.手里有个备份
不好处:
1.人家很有诚意,拿人家做备份,有点过意不去
2.浪费2个小时时间
请大家帮我出出主意,多谢!

A leading US online travel agency has developed software programme that
lists more expensive hotels in search results for Mac users - because
research shows they spend more money than those on PC owners.
Research by Orbitz found that fans of Apple equipment were likely to outlay
30% extra on hotel rooms, and developed the algorithm to list different and
costlier hotels and room tariffs.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the system is part of a wider data
mining project of online usage of seemingly innocuous information to help
predict spending habits and tastes.
It said the system (as evolved since boss Barney Harford, a former Expedia
executive, headhunted statisticians from eBay and Google to create a new
analytics team.
The team also discovered some innovative and design-led hotels were far more
likely to be booked by Mac users than those on Microsoft’s Windows systems.
"We had the intuition, and we were able to confirm it based on the data,"
Orbitz chief technology officer Roger Liew said.
He added that some other factors have been identified in influencing choices
, including user location, previous site history, alongkwith any promotions
and hotel popularity.
Apple users are known as being keen on design and are willing to pay extra
for innovative technology, such as with the premium-priced iPad tablets.
According to consumer research by Bizrate Insights, many tablet owners spend
28% more than non-tablet users and their average household income is 55%
higher, at $109,700 (£70,200).
Marketers are also looking at desktop computer spending linked to brands, as
although only 9% of computers are Macs in the US, the average household
income of their owners is 32% higher, at $98,560 (£63,000).
Orbitz, the newspaper said, intends to examine if Mac users also have
identifiable preferences for car rentals and airline flights.
