This week, Apple, along with 9 other technology companies, asked the White
House and U.S. Congress not to renew the USA Patriot Act in its present form
. Specifically, then wantto see the end of the bulk collection of
communications metadata, which a key component of the law. These are the
logs that determine how and when people contact each other.
Unless it is reauthorized, the USA Patriot Act will expire on June 1.

政府问tech公司要信息又不给钱，这些公司不想干了活又要替政府背侵犯隐私的黑锅，
这时候跳出来立牌坊是必须的，你的信息如果apple自己想collect的还是会照旧
collect

苹果帮你维护权益不然全世界各种政府都可以有权利拿到你的隐私，
如果碰到邪恶势力就可以用来要挟你。政府的授权需要有监管和界限，个人的隐私不能
在互联网时代就全部失去。

我不认为我有这种性质的隐私，which可以让任何邪恶势力达到要挟我的目的！
另外，我不明白你的逻辑：明明说的是美国政府的事情，怎么就不知不觉被你扩展到
全世界各种政府还有邪恶势力了！
恰恰相反，美国政府拿这些信息的目的是为了打击邪恶恐怖势力！

美国可以随意拿信息就会让其他国家用类似的标准来要求科技公司来给与政府获取信息
的权利。
你可以放弃自己对于隐私的权利，但苹果可以帮助其他人来争取保护隐私的权利。
不是所有人都无条件地信任所有政府的所作所为，jobs 本来也是个无政府主义者。
