A) Ethanol precipitation
1)Add to the DNA solution 1/10 volume of 3M NaOAc and 3 volume of EtOH
2)Leave in the -70 degree freezer for 20 minutes
3)Spin in microcentrifuger for 10 minutes to pellete DNA
4)Wash with 70%ethanol and spin for 10 minutes
