regarding nobel, harvard may not even be the top5 I guess. 过去30年harvard产
出的nobel好像也只有Huber&Wiesel吧 除了去年的Jack..

小本申请的时候看看排名也无可厚非吧 那时候一般人也不知道要做什么 去个好点的学
校总是找到好lab机会大一点。。另外综合牛校要转行也容易点 呵呵

sounds reasonable, but for one at Harvard level, or Rockfeller or whatever

argue one may have much high chacne to join a trash lab in harvard/stanford
than Caltech/Rock/MIT...agree?

这个么 我得说真要没有眼光非要加入trash lab这个谁也挡不住。。否则的话我感觉还
是harvard/stanford选择多一点 而且要转行眼界也宽一些。要去了rockefeller/calte
ch这种地方万一你喜欢的方向上那个老板不招人或者人品不行你就没得选了基本上；想
要转行也没有商学院法学院医学院让你去选课啊.这两种情况见过的例子都有
当然了要是已经有目标Lab或者很清楚自己要干什么就无所谓 不过既然来这么问 lz肯定
还在懵懂状态呢 能拿到rock的offer手里好牌肯定不少 值得多考虑考虑

that I have to agree...but purely for the sake of arguing:))) in certain directions, there are more than one
choices in Rock/Caltech
too...nonetheless, trash labs not really rare esp in Harvard
