Theoretically speaking, if you are unlucky, it could be longer than 30 days.
USCIS never guarantee that your case will be processed to complete when
your priority date is current. But as long as the cut-off date does not
retro-regress, they should still process those cases in the next month whose
priority date are already current in this month.

大概第二个bios觉得第一个还是好的，但是第一个心里不爽，死活进不去

Virginia Lee
is a strong will women, but she is not very supportive for young postdoc and
leave few research freedom for them.
John, her husband can't be on par with her in science.
David, is very good in politics and networking and devote too little time on
science now. Not good for postdoc either.
Actually, Todd Golde in Mayo is a very smart guy. A little hard to deal with,
but not bad at all. I think he is really serious in science and may give
good advice for students or postdoc.

He made a 3xTg mice and become famous.But nowadays, most time he just
repeats himself and, probably due to the limitation of current AD study area
. It hard to see any change in next decade without a breakthrough in AD
theory.
All the study in AD hardly makes very few changes to Ad patients. Maybe
Pittsburgh Dye in fMRI is the best thing for patients in recent years.

Abeta plaques was considered to be the cause of AD a decade ago. Now, people
think soluble Abeta is more likely to be the cause, while Abeta plaques are
just the by product.
Genetic studies provide strong evidence that APP pathway play the pivot
role in AD. Tau also has its share in the game.
However, for sporadic AD patients, no solid evidence yet for any hypothesis.

Speaking of Brown and Goldstein, I think I failed to mention Helen Hobbs,
who is also in UTSW and a former postdoc of theirs. She discovered PCSK9 by
looking for rare genetic mutations. Now pharmaceutical companies are
looking for inhibitors for PCSK9 for treating high plasma level of LDL.
Brown and Goldstein's place is still a good lab to do science but they are
getting old.
