最近被ead和ssn弄的茶饭不思。。我是第一份工作，所以之前没有ssn，f1在2017年12
月20日已经过期，12月左右申请了opt，但是最后的ead卡的那个mail被usps弄丢了，马
上申请了ead replacement，因为uscis有一个规定，就是如果ead卡弄丢了，可以拿
replacement的receipt先工作着，然后边等卡下来。。。我公司也蛮好的，说可以按这
个走，所以我已经入职一周了。但是最近因为ssn特别发愁，因为公司2周一发payroll
，我之前一拿到replacement receipt，就去ssa申请ssn，本来人家不让我申请，因为
规定貌似是申请材料必须都是原件不能是receipt和copy，解释了好久，他们说可以申
请，复印了我的replacement receipt和之前的approval notice说要去核实我身份，说
可能要四周。。。所以现在我的麻烦就是，没有ssn我是不是不能领工资啊，小弟因为
之前没有工作过，不太清楚交税的流程是什么，或者我可不可以领了之后，等ssn下来
之后把之前的稅补上？期待有经验的前辈解答，十分感谢！

以前经历和听说的所有公司的401k公司match的部分都是直接就进账户了。最近知道一
家公司一共才match 75% of first 6%，还要分四年给，搞得跟RSU似的。这种情况常见
吗？

可以暂时上payroll。payroll的负责人应该有能力解决，同时等待你的SSN。

？还是说退休时就可以把所有unvested部分一次性都给你？

u r thinking too far down the line. there is nothing special about
a retirement. it's just a personal life event. so yes, u lose
unvested portions if any.
