国内演艺圈有两个最红的女人，两个冰冰，一个是范冰冰，一个李冰冰，两个人好像都
是华谊兄弟影业旗下的女艺人，但你们感觉到没有，红事同样的红，口碑可就是天壤之
别了，范冰冰一直是话题女王，从出道到大红大紫就没有一天不跟绯闻有关的，而李冰
冰从出道到大红大紫自始至终都是干干净净的，几乎听不到任何的绯闻，同样是中国一
线的女明星，但给人的感觉绝对百分百是两种人
范冰冰从那个什么还珠格格出道吧，说实话当年还珠格格的时候，谁把范冰冰放在眼里
了？范冰冰在还珠剧组中那是一个什么位置，论长相，论演技，都是路人甲的位置，长
得那叫一个蠢，那叫一个毫无可取之处，但是从那里之后，范冰冰就跟对了一个人，洪
金宝，没有洪金宝哪有范冰冰的今天，这事现在范冰冰只字不提，洪金宝还因为总被记
者问这事大发雷霆，两个人最近几年从未同台，地球人都知道的事，范冰冰的成名技术
很高
而李冰冰呢，除了演技就是长相，论演技绝对一流，论长相绝对高于范冰冰，论人品还
用说吗，看看这些年人家屁股下面干干净净

in our lab, we do many in vivo experiments. one postdoc needs 100K a year (half salary plus benefits, half other reagents,
animal etc)

In my previous lab, 2 RO1 can support 3 postdocs, 2 Ph.D students and one
boss (professor), totally 6 people.

新R01，只有$25万。基本上，能养一个postdoc和两个学生。
老R01，比如说renew了25年的R01，可能有$45万。养两个postdoc和三个学生。

如果按照NIH标准付博后工资，两个就是($40k salary+$10k benefits)x2=100k；技
术员可能稍微少点，杂七杂八也得将近４万；老板的工资加福利怎么也得１０万吧。
光这些一个RO1就没了。你总还得有钱买试剂仪器养苍蝇老鼠的吧。。。

slave: 60K (salary benefit) + 25K (research supplies) = 85K
one R01 (250K per year) is barely enough to support one boss + two slaves.

你们工资是100%grant出？boss的工资不用benefit,fringe么。

说到这个 好像不少学校限制申请private funding的数目 就是为了保证收获足够的
indirect cost
不知道有没有个list 以后申请好绕道。。

MIT的indrict据说很高。
可能那些PI都跟人家商量好了，一律不过indirect.
把MIT惹急了。

institute可能service会好一点，都由indirect cover.
大学里面，其实很多service都要钱。

No, if you grant get reviewed at 1 or 2%, NIH will still pay. Just look at
the NIH Reporter and find Scripps' PI. You will realize most of their R01
grant per year is around 400-500K.

是不是tenured以后，boss的钱就学校出了？
那如果是没独立的AP,没有自己的grant，挂在大老板的实验室，这样的情况学校不反对
么？那学校不是很吃亏？

尽快找到funding给自己发钱

我原来想的是那学校得养活他们，他们只要大老板养活就好了嘛……我想错了，赫赫
