近日，姚笛被男友求婚的视频引起了热议。原来不知不觉中，“童佳倩”已经36岁了，
那场拯救了整个马来西亚的出轨事件也已经过去四年了。
四年当中男主角文章淡出大众视野，在又一次向老婆重新求婚后，逐渐退居幕后，先后
导演了《陆垚知马俐》和马云的处女座《功守道》。受害人马伊琍在且行且珍惜以后强
势回归荧屏，以《北上广不相信眼泪》《我的前半生》等大热剧集向观众一次次的展示
“教科书”级别的演技。现如今更是回到了母校上海戏剧学院担任表演系三试的考官，
并因为严谨的工作态度广受好评。
而女主角姚笛呢，从冉冉升起的八零后女星逐渐被日新月异的流量逐步替代，似乎这几
年来跟姚笛扯上关系的都是负面新闻。
坦白说，整个事件当中小三姚笛在事业上的影响是最大的。当然了，这也算是罪有应得。
虽说有些事情一个巴掌怕不响，然而，事件发生的时候正好是马伊琍在医院为文章大命
换小命生二胎的时候。而姚笛完全清楚的情况下还是选择了越雷池，实在是无法激起任
何人的同情。
现如今，姚笛也被人求婚成功了，看似也已经走出了当初的阴影。是不是也就是说犯了
错没关系，再次站起来才是重要的呢？毕竟，日子还是要过下去的。

现在牛人怎么很大一部分都去药厂了？像Genentech的Morgan Sheng, pfizer的Mike
Ehlers.
很多博士期间做的好的，然后不是太基础的，也基本上去大药厂的研发当group leader
了。
原来学术界基本上毕业，不怎么考虑industry的，现在似乎这个translational
research很火，倒底是什么原因呢？

Just wait if they don't produce a drug or two (I think they have less than 5
years). Then you can not even come back to academia.

I think the internal research program in big pharmaceutical companies are
not as productive as people have hoped (I could be wrong and if I am please
give me some examples). A lot of big drug companies survive by buying
successful drugs from smaller company's pipeline today (survival by
acquisition). If this route is cheaper, then having your own large
research facilities just doesn't make any sense, guess what's going to
happen (or already happened).

I think the traditional molecule by molecule drug finding approach, or
rationale, is fundamentally flawed. However, the systems approach hasn't
break the bottleneck yet.
So screwed.

大药厂问题大着呢。养了上万博士，几年下不来一个药，全靠收购些几十个人的小
biotech撑着。大企业病，养博士教授再多也是废物。也就靠着以前的专利，和漂亮女
药物代表养人。

漂亮固然好。回扣才是硬道理。
收购小biotech已经没有用了。吃别的大pharma才能续命几年。

Roche institute很可惜的要是现在还在我决然要去那儿找工作

Shanghai.

all research to China? You must be kidding. If a company move all research
to China, stock market will lose interest in it. The company is close to
bankrupt. It might also have trouble filing appplication to FDA

The stuff from india is junk. Couple years later, like IT industry, drug
maker will realize outsource everything to india is not a good idea. They
are cheap and can save money, but the quality is more important.

个人觉得，En Li在norvatis有点小扯，他是甲基化与ES cell方向的牛人，但是去了
norvatis还是在做dnmt相关的基础项目。除了08年的Dnmt1 KO有点实际应用的方向外。
而不是想steve baylin和peter jones在真正push DNMT inhibitor的translational
research.
现在他回去后又在玩MeCP2,想在脑中一半表达mutant MeCP2的neuron中activate那份携
带正常copy但被slience掉得 X chromosome。
anyway,他在美国一个postdoc在做epigenetics的drug,据说有上到phase II,不知后续
如何哈。

我觉的如果自己在学术界的research能够有什么好的发现，然后对drug discovery感兴
趣的话，就可以考虑带自己的drug target过去做，这是很好的一个选择。当然了，如
果还是真心喜欢做学术的话，就再说了。

Not all research in the company, just that particular site.
They moved some of those staff to US as well.
I am just pointing out a trend.
