why stuck with academy?
It is true that Chinese are not considered minority in academia.
However, we are considered minority in small business. And every year every
federal agency has specific amount of $ allocated to underrepresented small
business. So the best strategy is
(1) become a US citizen
(2) setup a small company, make sure sure your wife holding 51% ownership
(3) setup shop in some underdeveloped region of this country. Believe it or
not , a huge percentage of this country is considered under developed. As
long as you do not setup shop near boston or new york, you will be fine.
(4) goto small busness administration, certify your shop to be A Small
Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
(5) go after federal contract. Or partner with big company to go after
contract. Believe it or not, big companies love to do business with small
ones because it makes them look good
So screw the academia bullshit, jump into business. It is so much better
