我的PD 是2010 SEP
另外一个公司给涨将近25%的工资， 让当个经理。
我现在的公司一切都还好，我的位子稳定，跟同事和老板关系都不错，就是promotion
死慢，来了4年了，没变过title，工资在第3年的时候自己去要的，然后给涨了10%。今
年老板已经说了，升职是没戏的。也就是5年没升职过。
这两个公司是一家大公司下面的两个分公司，不同业务，不同的legal entity,我知道
过去了就肯定要从新办绿卡了。
昨天上午另一个公司发的offer，结果搞的我是从昨天开始就工作也没工作好，睡也没
睡好，大家说说啊，该不该走啊？

Given that your PD is 2010/9, you should be current within a few months, I
think.
(My PD is 2010/12, so I hope it is soon).
If you start over, your GC could be delayed by a year, at least.
Most companies start the process at several months after you start (some
even years). From the time your new GC starts, it takes months to advertise
before filing PERM. Now PERM takes 4 to 6 months, 140 also takes several
months.
It is up to you. If you have no urgency for GC, go ahead. Everybody is
different.
Some have families, some don't. Some want green card sooner, others may not
care.

go，想想你拿了GC能怎样（10年9月的PD拿卡是猴年？）？提前和新公司谈好条件，GC
和H1B transfer一起开始，能加快的都加快，半年140就搞定了，不耽误事。原公司也
别闲着，该干嘛干嘛。

My suggestion is if next VB moves less than 2 months, go for it. Otherwise,
stay for GC.

The process and speed of promotions are different from company to company,
and department to department. My title hasn't changed (promoted) for 6 years
and salary increase is very slow every year (about 1 or 2%). My PD is
December 2007 and RD is December 2011. So I am going to wait until I get the
green card. If your PD is 2010 Sep, I suggest you should seriously think
about this offer (a 25% increase and title change). If you think offers like
this will come after you submit 485 (wait for 6 months after that), you may
stay. Or you could take this offer to your boss to see if he can match at
least the salary. Good luck!
