算法方面就没什么，全部在本版里出现过N次
但概念方面就记不清，我还是回去洗洗睡了。
什么是 B Tree？居然想不起来
database的normilization有什么用，解释正确，但问我technical term是什么，我却
怎么也想不起来。由于沉默着想这个词，他反问我是不是打开电脑google -_-!

太多的手機型號, 讓人覺得每隔幾天就有新模型, 太多的選擇. 並且都非常類似
就只HTC就有數十款, 眼花鳥亂. 大媽型消費者根本不可能高清除, 然後就只能選擇
iphone 算了.

hash collision除了linked list，还有什么其它方法吗？

完全扯蛋呀，汽车市场每个厂商都有10来款车型，怎么就不是问题呢？
大妈消费者无非是亲友推荐和看外形来做决定的。

It was found that bacteria don't grow around the mold. The hypothesis was
then proposed that certain substances in the mold suppress bacteria growth

agree with you that the purification of penicillin was based on that
hypothesis, whichi is not a very strong hypothesis often prefered by NIH.
not to mention that the initial discovery of the mold killing effect was a
serendipity.

如果NIH按照看见真菌周围不长细菌这种观察为标准来fund research,不用半年他就破
产了

没关系嘛，钱就是那么多。proposal太多了就搞lottery好了，
也不见得就比现在这种拼谁是大牛或者谁更会吹牛的标准来的差。

DFBB, or CR-V/RAV4, or Odessy/Senna, or higher end BMW 3/Lexus 250/MB C
other than F-150, other models' sales are tiny compared to DFBB

时代不同了，对preliminary data 的分量要求也不同了。
比方说你翻翻四十年前的 Nature, Science, 好多生物学的文章都很简单。

They also buy Beatle, Mini-cooper. I think I've sum it up right.
At the end of the day, it's like buying a coach or LV bag.
It has a brand name, it looks good (without the mandatory ugly
cover which won't be in display). And that's about it.
More savvy consumers prefer price performance ratio and do not
mind reading some reviews before making decision, but that's
another story.

GM几十个车型是因为历史上他家并购起家的。
Henry Ford最早时候车型也比较少。后来也是并购。

hypothesis不存在strong or not. 在验证hypothesis过程中做的发现, 可能比这个
hypothesis是否成立还重要, 但做这个发现的过程还是hypothesis driven的.
比如你拿一个化合物去看看对细胞生长的影响, 这么简单的一个想法, 就有假设在里面
, 可能你没有意识到.
所以hypothesis driven基本上是所有科学的underline的方法, 要注意做实验的目的是
test, 而不是prove or fit the hypothesis. 上次那个帖子说到hypothesis driven
的问题, 其实是很多人不去test.
