请教preliminary data在postdoc fellowship中的重要性# Biology - 生物学

发现有一类postdoc fellowship很明白的写着，需要有preliminary data。
第二类或者明确的说不需要preliminary data，或者没说需要也没说不需要。
对于第二类，如果放一些preliminary data对申请会更有帮助么？还是无所谓？

very important if your publication is not super impressive

no worry at all with your pub and your boss' reput but he seems not pushy
enough on this, right? or he doesn't need more money....

He is very very supportive, not pushy at all...
Regarding the fellowship application, I'm kind of pushy...
