刚拿到Intel offer at Folsom， CA. Salary grade 5（8w多一点), no sign－on
bonus/stock。 M.S. in CS ＋ 2年美国工作经验。
感觉有点少（和我在中西部挣的一样), 请教类似经验的工资范围大约多少.

这个offer不错了，据我所知在folsom entry level phd (grade 7) 也就是 85k-90k
base. Intel的base salary 低早就不是啥秘密了。每年有3次bonus, 2 half year
ECBP + year end EB, depends on your target bonus.
比如假设你的base 是80k, 2次ECBP差不多有一个月的薪水，6500
假设你的taget bonus是 1500, 今年的multiplier 是 4， EB=1500x4=6000.
total compensation = 80k + 6500 + 6000 = 92.5k
每年还给RSU, around 300 shares, valued at 6000 now
so total should be around 100k, not bad for MS.

BTW, intel 的 profit sharing 也还可以, 去年是 6% of base salary, 也就是说你
不需要自己存401k, intel will deposit 6% of base to your retirement account.
不过overall, intel the package最多也就是平均水平,没有啥吸引力,唯一的好处是
比较稳定,作为第一份工作熬绿卡还不错.
