Young undocumented immigrants offered a two year deferral from deportation
under President Barack Obama will be allowed to remain in the country if
Mitt Romney is elected president, the GOP nominee said in an interview
published Tuesday.
Previously, Romney had not specified how he would handle the estimated 1.7
million people who could qualify for the new rules, which went into effect
in August.

Wake up people, these illegal immigrants has nothing to do with your EB2or3
people, no matter who is going to be next president these people will be
favored by the system.
So those people who smash Obama on this issue can STOP now.

就是Thinkpad的商标位置。原来T400s盖子合上时，Thinkpad几个字是正对用户的，现
在T440s是反的，和反苹果一样。
想了一下，不无道理。这样笔记本打开时，相当于竖了个商标。原来那个竖起来就是反
的，效果不好。只是苦了我这老用户，时不时搞错。
Chromebook也是苹果风。

The problem is not they can stay, the problem is they can stand in front of
EB23 to get their legal status. If Romney is bad, Obama is worse.

Didn't you read the interview?? If Romney is elected, these people will
still be ahead of EB23 and will be granted indefinite stay not just two
years granted by Obama. So I don't know how you get your conclusion on this
issue.
Don't you get it? The reality is both Romney and Obama want Latino votes, so
either way these 1.7 million illegal immigrants will be ahead of EB23. If
you think Romney election will make EB23 ahead of these people, you are just
delusional.

Romeny only promises not to deport the current young illegals with EAD after
two years. He is in favor of a plan proposed by Marco Rubio which will put
the dreamers into a working visa program similar to us H1B; instead of
granting them PR/citizenship directly. You can check out some interviews
from Marco Rubio, he works with lots of H1B visa holders in his office and
he understands the pain of EB23 legal immigrants much better than the
liberal crew.
However, Romeny will not get elected anyways. These dreamers will get direct
citizenship in O's next term. EB23 immigrants are just too insignificant.

If there is no waiver, they can not come back to US within 10 years under
the present immigration law. If they want to stay permanently, they have to
voluntarily come back home and wait in line with legal immigrants. It is
true both parties need votes from Latinos because of their large population,
but you can not convince me to vote Obama just because Romney granted a
waiver to dreamers. I believe EB as a whole has a better life under Romney's
policy under Obama's no matter dreamers can stay or not.
