我们field almost exclusively用latex，绝对比word有效率

搞数学，或者其他偏理论的，不用latex会死人的。不过貌似plos搞生物的多，
photoshop可能更加有”效率“。

建议你试试overleaf之类的latex编译平台，可以即时输出，效率成倍提高，再复杂的
公式也是浮云。

对于教授来说看latex脑子直接翻译成公式不是问题吧

这个文章也太傻叉了。论效率，当然绝大部分情况word强了，但是word碰到复杂情况例
如复杂公式、notation、图表等等就挂了，如果写书也挂了。word只能用于写文科的、
结构不复杂的文档。超过这个根本不行，bug太多了，根本不scalable.
理科(math,cs,physics)的paper、绝大部分学科的教科书只能用latex.

LaTeX的毛病是boiler plate code太多，语法也啰嗦。多一个少一个括号就编译不过。
LaTeX的几个优势是交叉引用，公式，ligature。这几个功能完全可以更简洁的标记语
言写出来，不知道有没有用LaTeX后端直接编译Markdown的平台。
