我朋友刚来美国不久。她用的是老公的American expree副卡， 但是两张卡她都拿着。
。昨天她上网购物的时候，不小心把卡号输成了老公的卡号，但是card holder写得她
自己的名字。结果竟然通过了。
不知道这样会有问题吗？是否还需要她老公给银行打电话说明。

他怎么还不是院士呢?
看了他的文章列表，确实耀眼，但是总感觉不是系统性的，虽然都是造血干细胞范围内
的，但是也是东一块西一块。他的那些文章换成一个普通的PI，估计文章档次就要降一
级。
SLAM是个好的发现

人很牛，也超级吊，和他一起吃过饭，他说招postdoc最重要是之前是不是productive
，和他领域是否相关不重要
他的talk也讲的很有激情，不像有的PI就是在那里读数据

不是这句话, 是整个谈话给人的感觉
比如他说美国最好的地方就是看你能不能持续产出, 而不是让你守着过去的成就吃一辈
子, 顺道有点鄙视那些得了诺奖之后不怎么出东西的人

cns发review 只能说明老板牛
和个人能力没啥关系
发research article 至少需要两者都牛

是不是所有发CNS article的第一作者们独立后都成了牛人、以通讯作者身份发很多CNS
、R01随手捏来？
一些科二代在牛老板手下发一两篇CNS就自我标榜成牛人、自我陶醉为稳拿、动不动就
把别人称为loser民科的。实在是让人笑掉大牙！

他的意思是以前获得的不代表现在的水平，他举的例子好像是HHMI的评估，评审好像不
应该太在意过去取得了多大的成就，而是最近几年有没有什么成果

100M是建一个他做所长的研究所。而且这种许诺不能全信的。到时候学校筹不到那么多
钱，
至少部分承诺就作废了。
不过CPRIT给他自己实验室四年10M，那是实打实的。

他们实验室代谢很快很规律的感觉，感觉也很支持博后，手下出来不少年轻PI啊...
不知道实验室是不是都是24/7的...
