InSilico Medicine, Inc., locating at Johns Hopkins University Eastern campus
, Baltimore MD, is an in silico drug discovery company focusing on cancer,
age-related diseases and aging itself. InSilico Medicine, Inc. is looking
for programmers and experts in the fields of bioinformatics, oncology and
age-related diseases.
The programmers scientist/senior scientists will assume positions with a
broad range of responsibilities including:
1. working closely with our research and development team, the developer of
the OncoFinder, GeroScope and PharmAtlas tools for personalized medicine and
drug discovery;
2. Establishing collaborations with the top academic institutions and
companies with collections of human transcriptome and RNAseq data;
3. Maintaining the research progress reports;
4. Collaborating on research manuscripts;
5. Attending and presenting at conferences;
Base compensation:
1. Competitive salary, significant options package with rapid vesting,
travel allowance.

Required skills:
•Human transcriptome and RNAseq analysis
•Programming skills: R, Python, MySQL
•Ability to work independently
Preferred:
•Signaling pathway analysis (experience using either Ingenuity IPA,
GeneGo Metacore, Ariadne Genomics or other popular packages)
•knowledge of the machine learning algorithms
•Experience with C/C++, Java
•Drug repurposing experience is a plus
Education:
•Bachelor (computer science, programer)
•Masters in the relevant area
•PhD degree is preferred
