今天新买的XPS 8920台式机（没买屏幕）背后没有DVI, VGA插头，请问怎么连我两个
dell 24"屏幕： Dell U2412M (NO HDMI,, has VGA, DP, DVI-D with HDCP)
Dell ST2410 （HDMI, DVI-D with HDCP, VGA)
要买什么cable？麻烦给个order链接。

非常感谢。
所以要买hdmi to hdmi cable和dp to dp cable. 而不是买hdmi to dvi adaptor
cable (connect the new desktop to monitor. desktop有好几个hdmi插口）?

对，cable去newegg或者Amazon看看，不要买adaptor。另外你的机器是不是有独显，如
果有记得接独显，在后下方。

这个根本不算生物改行，人家本行就是警察，本科学的是刑侦，警察干了好多年工作需
要才去念了个生化phd

It's hard to believe such high end desktop would not have all the display
connectors.
According to this

, which should support HDMI, DVI, and VGA.
The GT 730 even supports dual link DVI, so you can get a cable like this to
connect both of your monitor to DVI:

At lease, you should connect one monitor to DVI, the other one to VGA.

多谢帮助。我是在costco店里买的（XPS8920, i7-7700, 24GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB
HHD) 。graphics card 查了下，是：
8GB AMD Radeon™ RX 480 Graphics
上面有1个HDMI, 3个DP接口。这个是不是没有你说的NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 牌子好？
主要差在哪里？多谢。
我一开始一个monitor的DP 接台式机DP, 另一个monitor的HDMI接台式机的HDMI, 奇怪
鼠标不能从一个monitor划到另一个。我就把其中一个cable 换成DVI-HDMI cable，就
没问题了。然后我又把DVI-HDMI cable换回成DP-DP cable, 还是没问题。

Henry Lee 还真是做科研出身的（虽然原来做过警察），PHD 跟的炸药奖得主Ochea，
还发了几篇PNAS,考虑那个年代，他说曾经拿到UCB的AP教职位置很有可能不是吹牛，
不过人家有眼光，毅然做了另一个决定去没什么名气的学校做鉴证科学...
如果当年选做UCB的AP现在也就没有henry lee了，只不过多了一个平庸的大学教授而已

I am not expert on video cards. From what I can tell, RX 480 is better than
GT 730 on performance:

You might need config displays in OS to match the physical location of
monitors. This might be the issue in your first trial with mouse movement.
