我的情况：PhD毕业后，在同一公司近6年，但最初工作是engineer, 2年前才transfer
到research position, 所以一部分research experience是要算grad school的.
EB1b RD 4/11/2011, 9/26 收到update, 是request for additional evidence.
10/3 公司HR发来RFE信，有2页，要求证明：
1)3年research experience:
In addition, the USCIS is also asking for evidence that you have at least 3
years of experience in teaching and/or research in the academic field. The
evidence, the USCIS states, must be in the form of letter(s) from your
current or former employer(s) to be issued on official letterhead and must
list the employer's name and address, the signer's name and title, and a
description of your experience, including dates of employment and specific
duties.
The USCIS is also requesting evidence that your experience obtained while
working on an advanced degree involved teaching duties in which you had full
responsibility for the class taught or research that has been recognized
within the academic field as outstanding. This evidence may be in the form
of a letter from your direct supervisor or individual overseeing your work
at the school.
2)job offer letter
a copy of the offer letter or contract that was given to you before the I-
140 outstanding researcher petition was filed on April 8, 2011 and that the
offer letter indicates that it is offering you a permanent position.
3)公司有>3 researcher, 公司research achieved academic excellence.
我的问题是：
---(1)我会按要求从PhD 导师处弄封信，律师要我从系里也再要一封。导师的信要怎么
证明我outstanding呢？最初的材料中，导师的ref letter其实有针对性地写过那些了
，不懂为什么还要。
公司是否还要出一封证明我的公司内的research？
RFE里还提到要写明specific duties,那要多详细呢？
---(2)律师准备用我6年前的employment letter, 加上公司内部transfer的某种文件来
对付。这样是不是够了？
---(3)我的公司申请过好多EB1b, (3)要求的材料最初应该也交过，实在不明白怎么还
要。。。
这RFE看似要的都是一些官方的签字文件和导师的信，是不是意味着别的什么 2 of 6
criteria, 和totality都放过了？还有，我觉得自己背景不强，一开始没有concurrent
交485。现在交485可行吗？还是一定要等到140 批了？
