Each year they have a new version, usually expensive. is it ok for me to use
2006 version or 2005 version to study, I mean any big difference from 2007
version? thanks a lot

No material changes, but they sometime add some new materials and sometime
delete some old ones. It is better for you to use the 2008 notes for 2008
exam.
Since the CFA institute begins to market its own official books this year,
you can just use the 2007 notes with the CFA official books.
