Hello, everyone,
I felt tired as a average software engineer. My current job is easy and also
have time enough for me to pursuit a part-time MBA( not full time because I
need raise family). I want to change my career as a businessman or some
kind of manager. I only worried about whether I am too old to study MBA(I am
38 year old now) as a way to change my career path. I want to go back to
china to develop my career path but I know it is not good to compete the
senior position with young guys usi

It seems there are some guys are in the same boat. I really tired of staying
here without any change. I want to try a new career as a businessman, but I
don't know which field of management or business is suitable for us to
compete with those young guys. I am not afraid of competition but fear
discrimination for my age. Do you think it is good if I focus on supply
chain of MBA or marketing. I know China is world manufacture center right
now and maybe I have a chance to it.

I don't know about anything about supply chain or marketing beyond common
sense. I'm applying for a part-time MBA program in a nearby university, and
in the meantime I'm taking some fundamental courses of economics and
business in a community college. It's kind of hobby, or something new to
pursue.
After a few years in the current software job, I think I need to learn
something new and prepare for future opportunities in China. I'm not afraid
of age discrimination, as you got age, while you got
