An American friend, who lived in China for a few years sent me this
question:
========
I was talking to a colleague and trying to recall the Chinese expression
or idiom that translates literally as something like "the food was very
oily" but in fact carries the meaning that it was especially delicious.
Are you familiar with that expression? I suspect it has fallen out of use
lately. No?
========
Someone in China must told him that expression, but I had no idea what it
could be. Any idea? Thanks.
