Due to this, a hiring freeze has been issued for all positions. 最近我知道了一个做real estate hard money loan的公司（就是借钱给别人
去买foreclosure，重新装修，然后卖掉，赚利息），是个private equity，
最低投资$25k，re-investment最低$5k。保证年8%收益，历史收益年年
12%以上。我认识几个在这个PE里面已经投资了的人，可以保证历史收益
是真的。只是我不知道他们做的business是真的还是某种ponzi scheme。
我想应该没问题吧？

我父母去年九月二号拿到的签证，11月来美，今年五月回去的。现在由于小孩的原因，
希望他们能尽快再来。距离签证过期不到3个星期了，担心入境时只给一个月或三个月
，太折腾了。如果中信代签，（似乎北京网站上说签证还没有过期也可以通过中信代签
），我爸还没有弄退休手续，怕短期内再来美国有影响 (上次面签准备的请假条，但vo
没看）。大家给个建议吧！谢谢

H1B will expired on OCT.2013. 2.5 year left.
PD is OCT.2009
I140 got approved, but no copy.
Reason to jump
1. salary is low
2. don't like the project
3. don't like my boss.
worried
PD transfer and 140 relink. usually need at least half year, any new company
can apply PERM for me, it PERM was audit, I will be doomed

如果是做flip, 在过去几年相对来说还是比较容易的, 但是越来越难了.

我进过. 过程是每天 Night shift半夜去打扫卫生，感想是录音室很干净.

最好不要2次入境。我妈妈曾经用过2次入境，当时海关倒是很nice又给了6个月，但是
之后下一年想来，再去签证就被拒签了。

进之前尽量多练习，练得越熟越好，纰漏越少越好。（听着像废话，不过别人跟我说的
时候我没听，后来花了很多冤枉钱；当然，如果不在乎钱，或者说录音室就是朋友的，
进去玩玩儿啥的就另说了。）
录的时候录音师很关键，最好事先多沟通；如果你很烦这个录音师，那估计录不出啥好
东西了。
另外，有时间的话提前去踩踩点儿，录的当天早点儿到，粮草准备充分，都对缓解紧张
有些用也许。（怎么说得跟考托考寄似的。。。。）

问题是：给出的offer有没有可能withdraw?

记得好象有办法从USCIS拿到140的复印件的.自己找找.
如果公司不是很懂,就找个理由说需要140复印件,比如去大家拿签证等.
如果东家能马上给你办PERM,那很快的.碰到AUDIT就撤消从新FILE.关键是要好说话的主.

不好意思这么久才回复，期末有点晕了
录乐器(band?ensemble?orchestra?不知道怎样定位>.因为同意给录音室intern练手所以不收钱，可能要多弹几遍
不过最后成果还是要我们自己点头才算
最快六月底录，先录一支demo，效果好再录别的

我们玩live的，都是直接进大stadium，sports center，music hall等等。。。。。看

因为州议会最终的budget没有讨论出来。如果讨论出来没有预计的严重，position可以
reopen.

You can contact USCIS. Do some research here, I remember somebody has
mentioned how to get the 140 copy from USCIS. Or you can google.

one possible answer:
It is difficult to get a copy approval from USCIS quickly. It may not be
possible for you to get a copy at all, since the I-140 was filed by your
employer, not by you. CIS might not send a copy to you, since you did not
file the petition. You could file an I-824 to request a copy, but it would
take many months for this to be approved, if at all.
Having said that, you should not need a copy of the approval if you have the
receipt number. CIS can look up your case by receipt number and see that
you have been approved. You can also print out the status from the CIS
website. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDis....

这个学校不去也罢，感觉他们很多时候不是诚心招人。我申请了两次，每次都给电话面
试，然后就没消息。最后招的人好像也不是那么强。感觉自己每次都被用来当分母，陪
太子读书，感觉不是很好。问他们不给On-site的原因，说是不够Match。问题是不够
Match你让我去电话面试干什么？另外感觉这个学校对大陆的Phd不是太感兴趣，他们喜
欢招台湾人。这个学校地处大城市，居然基本没有大陆的AP，这在类似档次和
Location的学校里是不可想象的。

怎么我有i140的原件？还是我那张移民局approve 后寄给律师的纸只是一个附件？我们
公司就我一个外国人，他们也不太懂，难道公司也会同时收到approval letter,但是是
主件？
