got it today. as expected, my math/basic science credits are deficient by 5
credits. They simply multipled credits of math/basic science credits from my
transcripts by 2/3.They don't care how many weeks per semester in China,
they don't care how many classes per 4 or 3-credit class.I'm sure their rule
is that total credits must be around 120(124?) credits for a 4-year program
.It is the USA rule.
no way to get a ABET accredited bachelor degree.
sad!

Yours are better than mine. I got 10.7 math/basic science deficiency.
As I mentioned before, even your degree is not equivalent to ABET, you still
get great change to meet State Board requirements. You can claim you have
more classes during your post-bachelor degree, you have professional
publications (paper),...........

yes,I know I can argue this with the board.however, something is not right
with the accreditation itself.We might be able to do something to correct
this.As I understand it,NCEES,CPEES,board, all follow ABET criteria, but
does ABET give guidelines ho to evaluate the credits from other countries?
kind of frustrating, I took advanced math (2 semeters, 6 credits each
semester),general chemistry, generl physics(2 semester), gology,linear
algebra,etc. still failed.

I took more math and science than you, and even more defiency than you...
The reason is I got too much credit on Engineering. I have total 228 credits
for my BS degree.
Under current CPEES system, someone from China will get great chance to pass
if he/she only has around 130 credits for his/her BS degree.
One of the reasons of this evaluation is to "Make foreign degree worse than
USA degree", that is the goal. It is our personal choice to do evaluation,
to get PE in USA, to stay in USA. If yo

Larry Li is in charge of the evaluation of Chinese Degrees in CPEES.
Probably you should contact him directly.

No help. He is saying it is all under their director control.

THU 五年制的都是200+credits,那岂不是死定了? 这个defiency该怎么补救啊?

yes,死定.nothing can be done from CPEES side. the only thing you can do is
to communicate with the individual engineer board. however,I 'm thinking
whether there is a place to complain this. This is something like
discriminatin.
