这种内在的东西是什么？是犹太民族的保护神。她不仅能凝聚民族，而且能启发智慧，
培养人格，非常伟大。说到底，其实只是一本书：《塔木德经》。说到这儿，有人会失
望了：一本书，就这么厉害，忽悠人的吧？笔者只想说：书和书是不一样的。有些书看

getting news, but anyway, i wanna see more of them!

the responses are positive in the commentary section. and it looks i was too
naive to believe hanna's words that she is not ready to do partner dance (
although her heart is still dancing bluh) and to believe that andrej has no
plan to dance with elena.

Just passed the 2008 OCT. PE Exam in Transportation. How much raise can I
ask in such bad economy? (5 years of experience in China, 1 year Experience
in US.)

H1-B 在被lay off 以后就立即失效了，没有grace period，不同于F1. 但是一般情况
下是大家在得知要被lay off的时候，赶紧找下家，迅速办理新的H1-b。一般情况下，
两个H1之间间隔时间不是太长，就问题不大，但是如果时间太长，就是out of status
，对你申请下个H1和未来的绿卡都是大问题。
如果out of status时间超过180天，那么就会触动3年不得入境的bar。out of status超过一年，触动十年bar。

没那么夸张，移民局没那么空闲的。移民局现在严重人手不够，一般在out of status
(即黑了) 以后是没有人能管到你的。

If your employer has the policy about the raise, then you don't need to be
worried. Otherwise, what matters will be how important you and/or your PE
license are to your company.
Someone may have pretty good raise while someone may get no raise at all.

if you have GC,the situation is more controllable

Asking for one-time bonus of $2000 is a good deal for you.

Our company standard is $1000 bonus. Did not mention salary raise, but I
believe it will be considered with the title and salary raise.
