whenever something i care happens, i either get angry or panic. today, i was
reading quietly the whole day, feel peaceful. then in late afternoon, my TV
arrived. when i plugged in, there was no signal. i suddenly became angry. I
have been waiting for this TV for 10 days. now either the cable or the TV
is not working. I wanted to buy a TV from a local store, so that i would be
sure there is no problem, even there is a problem, it is easy to return. but
my husband insisted to buy one from online,

比如cisco除掉STP类似的protocol还有mLAG, vPC, vPC+, VSS,J家都是对应的吗？有更
新鲜的没有？主要是L2的, VRRP, FHRP之类的就不用说了。

You bet, every vendor has their own L2 redundant solutions, and they all
claim theirs are the best. Just look through their documentation.

juniper也有mLAG，不过mLAG,VPC这些主要是distribution switch在用吧，对access
switch是透明的.除非你是要接server.

你是什么产品，不同产品支持的东西不一样。
不过总体感觉，现在最好的layer 2 redundancy应该还是数fabricpath/trill+vPC+。
Juniper的不知道现在支持TRILL不
