I've already bought the hotel in Phildalphia and tickets for Thomas
Quasthoff's Mahler. Hotel is not cheap, neither are the tickets. (Since he
is kinda short, I bought the seats at front row of the orchestra section.)
But I just got an email from Philadephia Orchestra, saying Quasthoff got
bronchial infection and canceled his performance. Vivaldi's four season will
be performed. (How many times this piece or some of Dvorak's will be used
for substitute?)
Anyway, the second half is still worth g
