to solve heat equation, any existing codes? or good introduction?
I know little FEM of solving pde's, boss want me to code, I am
almost dead.

I think by searching FEM on the web you can find a lot of good materials about
finite element, both introduction, tutorial and codes, even some very powerful
codes. Good luck!
