Hi Brothers,
an urgent request for help with my Compaq laptop. It runs Windows XP,
and suddenly slowed down hours ago (which happened a few times before). i
tried to reboot it, but in the middle the computer says
"\windows\system32\config\system" file is missing or corrupted. it asks me to
put in the restore CD and then press "r" to repair. then i found that would
reformat my hard drive, which has lots of my recent data from computation and
other applications. so is there another way to r
