To feel the heat from competition, I am watching 2006 UK Open video.

At the final lineup when 6 couples stood together, for the first time, I
found:
- Riccardo Cocchi & Joanne Wilkinson are pretty short. She is the 2nd
shortest among the 6 females.
- Joanna Leunis is actually quite tall, not much shorter than Katarina
Venturini, who has the best figure among the female dancers. Both are much
taller than the other 4.
- Michal Malitowsk and Andrej Skufca are the same tall; both are much taller
than the other 4. Riccardo Cocchi may be even shorter than Joanna Leunis

I watched M & J's show at the SF open last year. I think Michael Malitowski
is probably about 5'7 (5'8" the most)" and I would not say that Joanna
Leunis is tall. :)

you still post on Dance Forum a lot?
I missed those days when I was on DF for hours and hours. Made lots of
dancing friends via DF and we actually met up in NY last summer. It's a
wonderful experience. Missed everyone.....555555, I barely go there anymore.

These are all relative measures till i see them in person. I don't think
Joanna is tall, but she is not as short as i thought, as she is not much
shorter than katarina, who i think is pretty tall from videos.

in the video they all look 6 feet tall to me
i walked past yulia and max saturday. totally star struck. and it was
shocking
to me that yulia is TINY, max is at most as tall as me (5'5)

I knew yulia couple are tiny - i saw them at manhattan dancesport. She was
tiny but full of energy, danced like a 小妖女.
How come you missed the pro latin final? Did you see the show dance?

Thanks for the links. One of the article in chinese said, maria (the top
amateur dancer w/ eugene, who is based in brooklyn, NYC) is no taller than 1
