Here's a recent interview with Riccardo.

it looks he is already 30 years old (started to dance with joanne at about
22, and danced for 8 or 9 years) - surprised, he looks like 22...And they
split for the reason of 'age'. i don't understand what that means. joanne is
too old or they have a generation gap between them?
she is not staying in shape from this recent video clip:

the english of that interview is really bad
that "age problem" could actually mean, "old" problem.
he mentioned he "stays with" Shirley Ballas.
wondering what he really means...

I don't think so. He said that girl is currently dancing -- therefore not
available, and Karina is available. BTW, I wonder if Karina is ever going to
find a partner again: it is just too hard for anyone to follow Slavik to be
her partner.

if you read the comments below on that webpage, someone says:
"Everyone is saying the girl Riccardo wants is Yulia Zagoruichenko. I hope
she leaves her partner, who is no so good for her, and dance with Riccardo.
They can make world champions. They looks so good together."
another one says:
"yes,whit yulia they look so good. but also whit karina they can make
champions."
still these are gossip...

that's a good guess - he might have said 'we split for the same old problem
(like other dancers who split...'
