local的 club一般教的都是American style
想学的话，倒是能找到很好的private instructor,但那学费就太恐怖了
好怀念在国内大学的时候，没有学得更多一点。
老师多，跳的学生也多，舞伴也好找。当然学费也便宜得多。
差不多冲这个爱好，就想回国算了。
不知这个板的其他兄弟姐妹们是怎么体会的？

这个，各有各的好处吧
在国内学舞的时间不长，同意学生多，舞伴好找，学费便宜
但是好像比赛不多，特别是对于初学者syllabus级别的比赛
这边好老师也很多。如果是和college team一起上课
那学费也不贵，舞伴也不难找。
当然要是你们学校没有team就会困难点
很多local club不是focus在competition上
找club不如找competitive couples，跟着上课

music has great advice. if knoxville can host a dancesport compeition, it
means there're enough people in town who're doing it. how far is it from
atlanta? there're quite a few teachers based there.
american style is more popular in the mid-west and south. you just need a bit
more efforts to find the right studio and right teacher. you need to find
these first before you can find a partner. like other people have suggested, i
'd check to see if there're local college teams first. google dance st
