Linux?
I found the latest 9i has the enterprise version(3CDs) for Linux, but it will
need at least 512MB ram to get it installed happily...
Any lite ones for Linux? my computer just has 256MB ram... :(

so your Oracle would be for study purpose? I think it'll live
fine with 256M under Linux, you can download 8i from their website.
The installation is a bit tricky on Redhat7.1/7.2 but I finally
get it up and run. as to Lite, it's more of another DB than
a simplified Oracle and it's not true RDBMS if I recall correctly.
