you need to find out where tora try to read the tnsnames.ora file.
search this file on your machine. usually it is in ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
add a new entry to this file. see if it works. (you can also check env
variables or registry to find it out. please pay attention to ORACLE_HOME,
or TNS_ADMIN variable). if you are using Solaris, also search
the /var/opt/oracle directory.
to add a new entry, you need to keep the following information handy
1. the host name of the machine that installed o
