we are exploring different kind of replication, anyone have SQL mirroring in

the biggest headache is where should your witness server located.

why is that a headache nah? can't be be same server as primary server? or
it has to be a third server? and what does it serve as? like a log reader?

First, mirroring is NOT a replication, which means you can NOT use LOG
READER here.
Second, BOL is your best friend. (Or, like BEIJING, she uses GOOGLE....

if u don't want to share your knowledge, you can keep it, i don't mind at
all, but i would expect something meaningful in the reply.
