It doesn't support the Form class on linux yet. So don't try winforms
applicaitons on Linux. I tried, failed.
mono -debug will start a default GUI debugger. looks good.
mint is a good choice for learning languages.

how is mono's status now? Does it have enough library like those in windowz?

Good enough for genernal ASP.Net + ADO.Net project. I think.
But not for winForms.
If you really want GUI, GTK# is a better choice, which actually should be
called Gnome#. The author's orginal idea is writting a wrap for GTK, but
then they found it was too easy to do that after they finish their code
generator. Now they are working on the huge gnome libs.

In order to show you how ASP.Net works on Mono and Linux, I
made a screenshot. The file is in yahoo group's photo album.
