I think what he meant is that losing job is the no.1 reason a GC application
could go busted at I-485 stage, which will not be an issue anymore after
180 days.

job happens frequently especially with EAD in one hand and better job offer
in the other. Thus 180 days to eliminate it.
In rhe past a couple of months, There are a couple of reallllly good jobs I
can apply if I have GC but I had to wait either get the GC or pass 180 days,
whichever comes first, to act.
