I live in Southern California and in my situation a living trust will cost
me > $2 - $3K. Not sure how much a Last Will will cost but it looks like it
will be much cheaper.
My google search shows the probate period is about 8 months in CA and there
is several hundred thousand dollars probate fee. If the 8 months and the
probate fee is not an issued to me, should I use a Last Will rather than a
Living Trust?
I am married with 3 small kids. I need the Last Will / Living Trust just in
case both me and my husband die.

还是要看具体情况，还有隐私什么的。还有一点是“A trust allows you to
establish provisions specifying when a child will be entitled to any assets
held in trust.” 如果你完全信任孩子到18岁会正确处理他们的钱财，或是asset只
是足够监护人把孩子抚养到18岁，我想这个问题大概就不存在了吧。
