现在只是proposal，DHS 把它放到federal register之后还要等60天让public留
feedback，下面的程序还要花多久，最终能否通过就不知道了。
同时这个proposal也说要放宽EB1的条件，具体如何放宽还不知道。
不管如何都是个利好消息，特别是哥这样不得不转成H4的。。

expected to go into effect after a 60-day public-comment period.
这不就是说2个月后生效么？这是O8的nnew initiative

不太懂president's initiatives的法律含义是什么，貌似不通过立法机构而公开投票
？谁熟悉的给解释一下

我是一贯支持这些变动的。
这次只是奇怪那帮关注美国未来的悲愤的洗洗睡党到哪里去了。
老中排期看不到边的时候出来忧国忧民要掐死烙印。老中大跃进了，他们就没影了。
难不成他们是讲中文的烙印无间道；还是心底里想掐死老中的“同胞”。

H1b万一没了工作，H4有工作怎么办？身份立马失效。。

Eligible individuals would include H-4 dependent spouses of principal H-1B
workers who:
Are the beneficiaries of an approved Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for
Alien Worker; or
Have been granted an extension of their authorized period of stay in the
United States under the American Competitiveness in the Twenty-first Century
Act of 2000 (AC21) as amended by the 21st Century Department of Justice
Appropriations Authorization Act. AC21 permits H-1B workers seeking lawful
permanent residence to work and remain in the United States beyond the six-
year limit.
