did round 3 of triple-card AOR of the year on Monday
1. Chase IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card - 80,000 points
original plan was to get another Chase Ink Plus, but chickened out at the
last minute because I already got Ink Bold and United Biz this year. applied
for Chase IHG instead, for a targeted 80,000 pts offer. turned out to be a
wise decision. even though it was approved instantly, but was given a
miserable $2,500 CL, the lowest in years. may give Chase a long break and go
after the Ink next year.
2. Wells Fargo Propel World American Express Card - 40,000 points
my first card with WF, spoke with an underwriter and was asked to fax two
most recent paystubs to verify income (rarely happened, but WF is known to
be strict, so not that a surprise), approved today with $10,000 CL
3. Citi Executive/AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard - 100,000 miles
my third Citi AA Exec card this year. applied online and was asked to call,
approved with $20,000 CL after 5-minute hold, no questions asked.
