现在正在准备OPT申请，由于OPT可以提前在I-20表上completion date（in Dec）的90
天前开始申请，现在已经从registrar拿到OPT recommendation letter，OPT在12月下
旬开始。
如果这样的话，我还能在10月份提交thesis拿Oct的degree吗？导师想让我拿Oct的
degree，这样不用交Fall的学费。
也就是说degree （Oct）在OPT I-20的completion date （Dec）之前拿到可以吗？这
样就造成degree awarded到OPT开始之间的间隔超过了60天了，有问题吗？
还是说OPT I-20必须重新更新成Oct的completion date然后重新弄OPT申请？

应班花的要求更新Timeline:
PD: 07/2012 （EB2）
RD: 04/2014 （降级到EB3）
RFE：07/2015 （EVL和体检）
没有再折腾回EB2
二月初，找议员催绿，今天收到如下消息，看来是绿了。
今天收到主副申请人的短信：
On March 1, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number SRC149024××
××, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.
uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
这是绿了的节奏吗？

搜查了一下，好像有些学校说明“If a student completes the program of study
prior to the completion date, the I-20 will automatically expire on the date
the student completes. ”
所以我如果在10月提交degree需要的document，我的OPT I-20上的completion date是
12月，那就会自动expire了，那岂不是我按照12月来申请下来的OPT会不会是invalid？
