RD 02/2018,去年律师失误,错过了递交485。
Finger print 03/2018,
还需要relink回EB2么还是继续等?
是不是FP以后只需再等2个月就能EAD,然后就能换工作了?还是需要等到RD之后180天?

485的Notice date之后满180天再跳槽
既然你都是靠着这个跳槽,其实relink不relink完全不关键。应该你是靠着eb3绿的概
率大,下个财年的事情了这都是。
如果你铁定要跳槽,我就不会relink,485满180天就走。

至于你是拿到485 ead以后到下家用ead工作,还是叫下家给你申请h1b,看你。
我会选择让下家再给申请个h1b。

取决于你的eb3 140 通过与否 如果没通过 不满足那个180天的规定

这个对的,所以对于楼主来说,可以这么做。
走之前,把eb 3 140给pp了,确保它是被批准了(eb2 140也是被批准了的才对,如果
没有,也应该等到它批准了再走)
同时确保485满180天(从ND算起)
拿到该拿到的所有材料,perm copy,140批准件等等。让下家给你申请个h1b,pp之,
h1b通过以后就辞职走人即可。

多谢。是不是180天以后,H1B就没用了?也就是说可以告诉新公司不需要sponsor了?
即使H1B过期了也没关系?

Technically,you don't need H1B sponsorship from your new company to be able
to work, as long as you have a pending 485 and you have EAD card with you.
This 485 EAD card is based on the pending 485, so you can renew it later on
based on the pending 485.
However, you need to ensure that your new company understands that you will
need them to provide supplement J form at least in order to complete your
485 application. Probably you will get an RFE for J form. We started to see
a pattern that people that got a 485 EAD card tends to get this RFE for J
form.
So it is absolutely important for your new company to be on board.
That said, having an H1B is a better option simply because if you get fired
in your new company, you can stay here for 60 days (grace period) and you
can look for new jobs within this grace period. If you secure a new job in
this period, you are good. You don't necessarily have to leave US to get
your new H1B activated again. On the contrary, if you only have 485 and your
485 for some reason gets denied, you will lose your status after 24:00 of
the same day, and there is no grace period.
The chance of 485 getting denied is low, but we've seen few here. They all
have their own tricky things involved, sometimes it is not even your fault,
it could be your attorney filing or submitting the 485 wrong...
In the end, it is your call. If the new opportunity is GREAT and worth all
the risk, I would say, go for it. But it is your call. Take my word with a
grain of salt, man.
